IGCT power semiconductor devices: ACS6000 uses IGCT (integrated gate commutated thyristor) power semiconductor devices, which reduces the number of components and improves efficiency and reliability. IGCT combines the high-speed switching characteristics of IGBT with the high blocking voltage and low conduction loss characteristics of GTO, which fundamentally reduces the complexity of the inverter design.
